Tuition assistance is available for individuals to participate in Ingenuity workforce training opportunities, including FUSE Makerspace workshops. Applications will be considered based on individual financial need or alignment of the training with the economic development priorities of the City of Albuquerque and the State of New Mexico. Lowe’s Foundation Gable Grants
FUSE Makerspace has partnered with Lowe’s Foundation to offer a limited number of scholarships for six-month Individual Memberships to FUSE Makerspace. Scholarships will be awarded on a first come-first served basis. These scholarships are available for current CNM Skilled Trades & Arts students, recent CNM Skilled Trades & Arts graduates (within the last 4 years), as well as students in the IoT and Competitive Robotics classes at CNM. Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR)
The New Mexico Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) provides assistance for those who have an impairment that “constitutes a substantial impediment to employment.” Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) is a state- and federally-funded program designed to help eligible individuals with documented disabilities find suitable employment. VR is a voluntary program and services persons who want to work. With a long history of success and proven methodology for making the best fits, time and again, DVR is committed to helping clients succeed.
AmeriCorps
Funding for AmeriCorps members who have committed their time to address critical community needs like increasing academic achievement, mentoring youth, fighting poverty, sustaining national parks, preparing for disasters and more who have earned education benefits to be used at two and four year institutions.
